As the weather cools down, I know that we’ll be spending a lot more time indoors. I’m actually really looking forward to this and a break from rushing around. I’m dreaming of curling up on our couch with warm blankets, a bowl of Heirloom popcorn, and a mug of Earl Grey tea, watching my favorite shows on our big screen tv.
We’ve cut the cord on cable, realizing that it didn’t fit our needs and was way too expensive. The shows we love most are often on streaming services and while we can watch them on our phones or laptop, it’s wonderful to have them on the big screen as well now.
Are you looking for a simple affordable way to stream video content straight to your TV? If so, the Google Chromecast Streaming Media player is for you. It easily plugs into your TV’s HDMI port granting you access to your favorite streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, HBO Now and others. You can also watch movies, shows, live TV, and photos streaming on your TV from all your family’s devices.
You can even give Chromecast vocal commands through Google Assistant.
Using Chromecast is simple: Plug Chromecast into the HDMI port on your TV to power and stream your favorite entertainment right from your phone with just a tap. Watch shows, listen to playlists, and more. And while streaming, you can still use your phone as you normally do.
So why not upgrade your tv now? Expand your home entertainment without buying a new TV. In fact, it’s so affordable you can get one for every TV in the house! I love mine. Enjoy!

Nice review and a good suggestion. I feel like the google chromecast is a very handy device, but I’m not sure if it goes along with my iPhone. I guess there is a chromecast sync app for iOS.
Debra Pearlstein says
Yes, it works great with iPhone and there is a Chromecast app.

Google Chromecast is such a smart way to improve one’s TV experience without spending a lot of money. We cut cable a few years ago – it was the best decision ever.

How have I never heard of this? Sounds like such a great way to save money and watch my shows!

It truly is! And at only $35. Quite amazing and works like a charm.

We got rid of cable, but I haven’t tried Google Chromecast. I didn’t know too much about it – thanks for sharing. I’ll definitely look into it.

We have cut cable recently. I have a firestick and don’t love it. I will have to try out the chromecast.

We have probably 3 or 4 Chromecast devices in our house. All the kids have one in their room so they can stream their shows to their televisions. That way they’re not staring at their phones or tablets all the time.

Great to know those things about Google Chromecast. And we need to look into this since it’s way cheaper than cable.
