Winter brought warm soups and stews, comfy pajamas, and cuddling on the couch with hot tea and a good tv binge. But, as spring blooms and the weather warms, I also emerge. Outside, the world feels clean and refreshed which inspires me to bring that sense of renewal into my home. Since spring cleaning can seem overwhelming, I’m here to offer some tips!
To-do-Lists: I find writing things down is half the battle! Getting it out of my head and onto paper makes me feel freer.
Break It Down: Break down your cleaning into manageable amounts. No one says spring cleaning can’t be spread out.
Declutter: A general de-cluttering is a great place to start and clears out your mind as well. The more I simplify, the more energy I seem to have.
Organize: Keep what you need. Toss what you don’t. Have a special bin for things to donate.
As far as rooms go, I love to start in my kitchen. A clean kitchen inspires my creativity and I love making light spring salads and soups, and fresh fruity iced teas.
Start with your fridge. It tends to get cluttered easily and may even be the source of some unidentifiable smells! Take out all the food and drinks so you can really get in there. I take out shelves and drawers and clean with Lysol Lemon Breeze All-purpose Cleaner Spray, then soak in warm water and rinse. I then wipe the inside with the lemon spray which clears out germy stains and odors, then use a warm wet cloth to rinse. I love the fresh lemon scent, and it’s so easy to find all the Lysol products I need at Target.
Replace the food that’s good and toss out the questionable. Remember, fresh start!
Clean out your cabinets. Give them a good wash and replace any liners. Get rid of anything old and re-organize!
Don’t forget the kitchen trash bin. Lysol Kitchen Pro Antibacterial Cleaner kills 99.9% of harmful kitchen bacteria without the harsh chemical residue other cleaners leave behind.
I also use Lysol for my bathroom. I start with the toilet because it’s my least favorite job, but I’ve found that Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner is great on even the toughest toilet rings. It destroys ugly stains and cleans as it disinfects without taking much time at all!
For everyday hands-free freshening, I use Lysol Click Gel. Simply insert an automatic cleaning gel to clean with every flush.
I also love using Air Wick Scented Oil Warmers which work for any room up to 124 sq ft. A spicy or gourmet scent can make large rooms feel warm and cozy, while fresh, floral or fruity can make small spaces feel more airy.
Choose products to help you efficiently clean and revitalize your home, room by room. Lysol, Air Wick, Woolite and Finish are must-haves for fresh and easy spring cleaning.

I HATE spring cleaning but I LOVE decluttering, so that is definitely my favorite tip. I am most dreading chores I don’t do often, like cleaning out the fridge.

I absolutely say I HATE spring cleaning, although after I am done I am always glad I did it. These are such great tips for sure. Maybe this weekend I’ll start to declutter a bit for sure.

I have started with my Spring cleaning but I still have a long way to go. I can’t believe I’ve accumulated that much junk. Lysol is always the best choice for cleaning and disinfecting. Once everything is clean and organized, I will get some Air Wicks to keep the house smelling lovely.

Fantastic tips to help us with spring cleaning. I usually divide my tasks to manageable ones. I do that because I do not want to compromise my other equally important tasks, like making a good meal for my family and spending some quality time with the kids.

I think my Spring cleaning will be delayed this year. We are building a house for my son and daughter-in-law. Once they are all moved in a huge de-clutter day will happen at my house.

Spring is the season of hope, of new beginnings. New leaves spring to life and probably the right time to get some spring cleaning done. These products look to be reliable aides in this endeavour.
