Getting the Best Black Friday Deals at Best Buy

Whenever I think of Black Friday, that Steely Dan song gets stuck in my head like an earworm. Just me?

To most of the country, however, Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year, conjuring up images of incredible savings if you can outwit outlast and outsmart the crowds.

My earliest Black Friday memories involve standing in line with my Mom before dawn with a thermos of coffee and fried egg sandwiches while we planned what toys we would get to surprise my younger sister, what tech to get Dad and just enjoying the overall giddiness and fun.

Being a technophile, I am eagerly awaiting the deals at Best Buy It’s one of my favorite stores and one where you can find awesome prices on most in-demand tech products from 4K HDR TVs to gaming consoles, smartphones, laptops and more. Some of their deals have already been released while others will start on Thanksgiving Day, November 28.

I’ve been needing a new laptop for work and have been holding out for months because with enough patience and perseverance you can really score and still have money left over for eggnog. I know that the latest MacBook Air will be on sale at Best Buy along with the Surface Pro 7 and Amazon’s Kindle Paperwhite e-reader. If you’re looking for a new smartphone, whether it be the iPhone 11Pro, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 Plus or the Google Pixel 4, Black Friday is the time to get huge discounts.

I also have my eye on a microwave with an air fryer built in, a new juicer, and I’m also looking to pick up some new headphones from Beats or Sony. I’m always amazed at the variety and excellent prices at Best Buy.

Over the years, I’ve learned some tips and tricks to maximize success, including getting enough sleep beforehand so you’re not dragging when it comes to finding the best deals:

Have a list ready of those you are buying for and desired gifts. Although it’s fun to shop spontaneously as well, being prepared makes sure you don’t miss anyone or anything.

Do your research beforehand. For example, if you’re looking for a laptop, check out the specs and features. Get an idea of prices so that you’ll know if you’re really getting a good deal. Read reviews and talk to friends before Black Friday.

Have clear notes in your phone so you can refer to them quickly when needed.

One of my crucial tips is to always check online before Black Friday. Even though you may not have time to sift through every ad and stay updated to items as they pop up, trust me, there are people who do this. Find a favorite site that will keep you updated on the Best Black Friday Deals at Best Buy This has led me to the most amazing finds, sales, discounts, coupons and coupon codes.

And, above all, don’t get too stressed out. Remember, there’s always CyberMonday!

Best Ways to Find Kate Spade Promo Codes

I’m a self-confessed Kate Spade fanatic. Yes, I get giddy when I browse online and see all the new goodies! I love the dresses, the boots, the sunglasses, the poppy and leopard prints, the pjs and sleepwear. I swoon over the purses and wallets. I drool over their journals.

Lately I’ve been looking for a new purse and, shopping online, of course, I’m going to try to find the best coupons! It is possible to find good working Kate Spade promo codes, you just have to know where to start.

As many retailers do, Kate Spade offers a promo code when you sign up to receive their email newsletters. When you go to their homepage, you will see a pop-up to fill out.

Immediately, this popped up at the top of my screen, 15% OFF + FREE SHIPPING ACTIVATED (along with a code to enter).

But, what happens when I want to shop at Kate Spade again and have already used up my newsletter signup reward? That’s when I turn to coupon sites. Often you can find other shoppers willing to share their codes. You just have to find a site where the chances the codes work are pretty high.

In my pursuit of the best deal on my new favorite, this run wild leopard-print mini janine inspired by Josephine Baker’s pet cheetah Chiquita.

It’s has a crossbody strap, and just look at the adorable nose and whiskers. Too cute!

For some, it may seem logical to start with Google, which gives me a lot of different coupon sites.

However, as I have learned the hard way, all coupon sites are not the same. Some have coupons that don’t work, are used up or expired. So, where do I go from here? Since my favorite tool is now Dealspotr, I decided to compare it with a few other sites to see the results. Starting with RetailMeNot, I do a search for Kate Spade.

Not very exciting.

More interesting! But, out of date and expired! Frustrating.

Now, I’ll try Kate Spade at Dealspotr. I’ve had such good luck with them lately, that they are usually my first choice:

As you can see, Dealspotr has meters below the deal that will tell you whether it is active, expired or when it expires as well as the likelihood of the coupon code working.

Here’s a site-wide code for free shipping (always a great deal). When, I pull it up, I can see that a Dealspotr user has “validated” the deal, which means they’ve tested the code on the Kate Spade site to make sure it works. Dealspotr users do this for every deal on the site, creating a very accurate database of codes for each store.

I also love that Dealspotr tells me that Groupon has a sale of 75% off selected Kate Spade Products. I just click and I’m there. I love that I was able to find a Christmas present for my sister, a beautiful iPad case which is what she has been wanting. She also loves Kate Spade.

Dealspotr has so many single-use codes and all manner of promo codes available for Kate Spade, that you are bound to find a deal!

So, as you can see, you should never check out without using a promo code when shopping at Kate Spade or other stores! Don’t forget to bookmark Dealspotr, because with 5 million coupons and advanced code-finding tools, they are the site more pros use to find coupons.

Spring Cleaning Tips to Make Life Easier

Winter brought warm soups and stews, comfy pajamas, and cuddling on the couch with hot tea and a good tv binge. But, as spring blooms and the weather warms, I also emerge. Outside, the world feels clean and refreshed which inspires me to bring that sense of renewal into my home. Since spring cleaning can seem overwhelming, I’m here to offer some tips!

To-do-Lists: I find writing things down is half the battle! Getting it out of my head and onto paper makes me feel freer.

Break It Down: Break down your cleaning into manageable amounts. No one says spring cleaning can’t be spread out.

Declutter: A general de-cluttering is a great place to start and clears out your mind as well. The more I simplify, the more energy I seem to have.

Organize: Keep what you need. Toss what you don’t. Have a special bin for things to donate.

As far as rooms go, I love to start in my kitchen. A clean kitchen inspires my creativity and I love making light spring salads and soups, and fresh fruity iced teas.

Start with your fridge. It tends to get cluttered easily and may even be the source of some unidentifiable smells! Take out all the food and drinks so you can really get in there. I take out shelves and drawers and clean with Lysol Lemon Breeze All-purpose Cleaner Spray, then soak in warm water and rinse. I then wipe the inside with the lemon spray which clears out germy stains and odors, then use a warm wet cloth to rinse. I love the fresh lemon scent, and it’s so easy to find all the Lysol products I need at Target.

Replace the food that’s good and toss out the questionable. Remember, fresh start!

Clean out your cabinets. Give them a good wash and replace any liners. Get rid of anything old and re-organize!
