Aflac Makes Even Bad Hair Days Manageable #SalonDuck

July 31, 2015 By Debra Pearlstein Leave a Comment

This post is sponsored by Aflac.  I was compensated for writing it, but all opinions are 100 percent mine.

Have you ever had a bad hair day?

If so, trust me, you’re in the majority of folks!

Whether my locks are frizzy, dry or totally unruly, bad hair days have me scrambling for the nearest hairtie.

If I can’t find one, I’ll grab the first hat I see!

Here are some of my haircare tips to help minimize those wild hair days:

1. Never go to sleep with wet hair. This is especially important for medium or long hair.

2. If you have long hair, put it back in a ponytail before sleeping. This will keep it from tangling as well as out of your face.

3. Speaking of tangles, I use coconut oil to keep my hair tangle-free, smelling great and moisturized. Just a touch does wonders.

4. For rich moisturizing, I use mashed up avocados with a bit of olive oil and let it sit on my hair while I’m catching up on

my favorite tv show. Rinse afterward for soft shiny locks. I do this every few weeks.

My hairstylist does a great job when I see her, but, I must admit that she doesn’t have quite the panache of the Aflac duck. Just watch as he tries his wing at hair design in Aflac’s new “Duck Salon” commercial:

Hairstyles may change on a whim , but, if one thing’s certain, it’s that Aflac processes claims fast. When a policyholder gets sick or hurt, Aflac pays cash benefits fast – now in as little as ONE business day with the company’s new One Day Pay℠ promise.

Aflac

In the United States, Aflac is the leading provider of voluntary insurance at the work site. Aflac is not simply health insurance; it’s insurance for daily living. Minimizing delays, they will help your life stay on track.

While admittedly the Aflac duck is a horrible stylist, and I can’t recommend his wacky cuts, I can wholeheartedly recommend Aflac Insurance for really being there for their policyholders – paying claims fast when you need it most.
