I am participating in a sponsored campaign hosted by the maker of Advil® PM and I received a free sample of Advil® PM caplets. All opinions expressed are my own.
I have chronic muscle aches and pains which are mostly manageable when I can take the time to rest. However, I find that flare-ups occur for me at different times, often when I am doing more than usual or under more stress.
Recently, a lot of things seemed to come up at the same time, things which one at a time would normally not phase me too much.
My car wouldn’t start, and after waiting hours for Triple A to help and the driver waffling about whether or not it needed a new battery, I decided to have him install it to be on the safe side. I then went grocery shopping and on the way back started to hear this wretched sound which turned out to be a shredded tire. Upon getting the car to the service station, I found out it needed over $1000 dollars in repairs including the ABS sensor.
I got back home and the dishwasher decided to erupt through my sink and tossed all sorts of water and fun bits on my kitchen counter and floor.
It was all starting to feel like a comedy of errors or a really bad movie as I spent hours cleaning the kitchen.
That night I tossed and turned in bed, going over the events of the day in my head and sore from the extra work I’d done.
For me, sleep is truly essential for my mental and physical wellbeing. It is so precious and helps me revitalize and recover from the day’s wear and tear. Without it, I would not be able to do my writing nor my normal daily activities.
A good friend of mine takes Advil® PM to ease pain and help her sleep through the night, and, since I had a sample, I gave it a try that night. I was happy to find myself feeling relief from the day’s pains and relaxed and sleepy not too long afterward.
My pillows beckoned and I found I was able to sleep soundly and without waking up during the night from any pain. Treating the pain and sleplessness together worked really well for me.
Thanks to Advil® PM, I woke up refreshed and not groggy, I actually found myself laughing at the confluence of unpleasant events and thinking that my kitchen never looked so clean.

Advil PM has also created an online library there with resources on how to get a good night’s sleep.

Glad you were able to get some rest. When it rains, it pours and I know it can weigh on your mind.

hugs to you on this horrible, terrible, no good day! I’d have bawled and eaten everything not glued down. I have nights where my mind thinks we need to hash everything out again too…hang in there.
