Don’t Leave Your Skin Out In The Cold – Protect it with Vaseline Advanced Repair

Hands are wonderful. They can soothe your little one’s fever, communicate love with just a touch, make a hearty beef barley stew or re-paint the playroom walls purple.

But, it’s no fun when your hands are tight and dry from the elements. Winter usually wreaks havoc on mine leaving them uncomfortable and susceptible to all kinds of small cuts.

Here in Boston, we’ve had an especially cold and rough winter with never-ending snow! Sometimes I feel like we’re inside of a snowglobe and someone is shaking us. Although temperatures might take a nosedive this time of year, the moisture of your skin really doesn’t have to because Vaseline® Intensive Care™ Advanced Repair lotion moisturizes to help heal dry skin, even through the toughest winter conditions.

We went out to shovel off the car which was completely buried in snow and decided to build a snowman, but, before going out I decided to take the Vaseline Winter Challenge by testing out Vaseline Intensive Care™ Advanced Repair lotion.

I received a bottle of Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair (Fragrance Free) Lotion for the challenge. With its easy flip-top, you only get as much lotion as you need. I love that it’s lightweight and non-greasy on my skin and that it has no dyes or perfumes!

As you can see by the pictures above, we are buried in snow and it’s very powdery, which is good for clearing off cars, but, not so great for snowman-building. Nevertheless we really wanted to build a snowman. He’s probably not going to win any awards, but, he’s very approachable and friendly, and he’s ‘our snowman’. We had fun making him!

After we got inside, shook off the cold and put the hot chocolate on the stove, I checked out my hands. They remained soft, comfortable and smooth throughout. Since the first layer of protection for cold weather is your skin, why not try Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Lotion to give it the proper moisturizing, healing treatment it needs to weather the coldest days of the year?

Vaseline Intensive Care Lotions contain healing micro-droplets of Vaseline Jelly to deeply hydrate and heal dry winter skin and Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Fragrance Free is clinically proven to heal dry skin in 5 days.

You can find it at CVS stores nationwide at $4.99 for a 10oz bottle.

Don’t leave your skin out in the cold! Before you hit the slopes, go sledding, build a snowman or shovel out your driveway, give it some well-deserved protection!

Love your snowman and I love the price of this lotion. I need to get some for my husband. He is always complaining of dry skin in the winter.

I’ve never tried Vaseline lotion before, but it’s a good price for lotion that size.

My skin normally doesn’t get dry, but it’s been so bad this winter that I’ve actually bought two lotions.

I’ve been using this lately actually. It really helps keep that horrible tightness from being dry away!

I am in Massachusetts, too!! In fact, I am watching the weather right now and we are having 2 storms back to back, starting tonight! Yeah! Where the heck do we put it? Anyway, I love Vaseline Intensive Care. I have been using it for years!

This is definitely worth a try. We get lots of cold weather in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. In fact, we just got blasted with six more inches of snow last night.

Thanks for the recommendation of Vaseline’s Advanced Repair. I do believe I’ll try it. I live in Chicago which is probably much like your winters in Boston. Man, my hands are so dried out this year; more than usual it seems. I’ve been using Nivea Essentially Enriched Body Lotion many times a day and it just isn’t cutting it. Thankfully…winter’s over!

The snow was terrible last winter, I am so happy it is spring. But my skin suffered from the cold. I would like to try Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair. I needed a lot of help, so I will remember to try this.

I usually always like Vaseline products, but I haven’t tried this one yet. My winter skin definitely needs some help.

I am going to have to look for this product as it is really dry where I live especially in the winter and my poor skin needs some TLC.

It doesn’t get very cold here in Mississippi but my hands have been so dry from washing them. Love that this lotion is fragrance free!
