I enjoyed summer camp when I was a kid, but, here is a camp that I would have loved going to!
Founded at Stanford University, Digital Media Academy is ranked as one of the ten best summer camps in the world.
DMA summer camps are one or multiple week experiences taught by industry experts and tech professionals. Here kids, as well as teens, can learn computer programming, app development, 3D modeling, robotics, graphic design, filmmaking, and much more.
Campers will get hands-on experience creating projects using the latest hardware and software from Apple, Canon, Adobe, and more.
How cool would it to be to give your teen a pre-collegiate experience or build a child’s confidence through project-based learning?
Check out this video which shows The DMA Experience from Digital Media Academy.
With 25 locations at top universities throughout the U.S. and Canada, camps are filling fast. So why not register early to save money and stay off the wait list.

Since most kids love the digital experience I am sure they would enjoy this camp and it would help them in college too.

This would have been a camp right up my daughter’s alley when she was younger (she’s currently studying video game design at university!). She did go to a one week camp something like this when she was in 6th grade. It was a really good learning experience, and the bonus was it was free from the local technical school too!
