My favorite Thanksgiving Tradition is having dinner with the family. A few years ago we started going to a local restaurant for dinner and then going back to someone’s house for dessert and to watch football. It’s a great day!
Being with family. We have a big dinner at the Inlaws and my parents and play games all day
One Thanksgiving tradition I love is the 5 Kernal Blessings. We each state five things we are thankful for before the feast. The story behind this is fascinating if you Google it. I also love creating and retelling the Thanksgiving story using a bracelet. Thank you for the opportunity!
We always gang up Christmas lights outside while the kids play.
Always…dinner with the family, as many as we can fit into the house. Love the bustle and the memories of past dinners.
One of my favorite fall traditions would be drinking hot apple cider with a cinnamon stick. I love the cozy evening tradition. 🙂 Goes great with apple pie and ice cream!
I think my favorite tradition has always been just being with family. I had a heart attack the day before Thanksgivinig 2 years ago and I was devastated just to miss the holiday.
My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is getting together with the women in the family and making homemade pierogi to be served at the holiday meals.
Our favorite Thanksgiving tradition is to watch the parade on t.v. and have a large Thanksgiving meal together.
Always the Ham, turkey, mashed tators & gravy
I like getting together with family.
Fall leave pictures and football on tv!
Preparing the turkey the night before and having the stuffing ready to stuff. Then with everything in the oven I love peeling potatoes with my little one (her favorite part of thanksgiving is mashed potatoes). Making sweet potato pecan pie and whipped cream. Only this year she may need to go visit her other grandparents so I will miss her dearly. In which case, I will have Thanksgiving with her and our side the following weekend. She will want those mashed potatoes! The one thing I do is switch out the china to the Christmas plates the day after Thanksgiving.
My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is playing games together after the meal.
I love getting every last bit of freshness out of my garden in the fall. The time is spent canning and preserving for the upcoming long winter! It’s so rewarding! I love it!
