Enjoy the Season with Febreze Holiday Scents and Win a gift card #FebrezeHoliday

November 3, 2014 By Debra Pearlstein 96 Comments

I love the Holiday Season: the meals, the get-togethers and the camaraderie.  One of my favorite parts of the holidays are the scents! I love the smell of pine trees, of eggnog, of a nice warm vanilla latte with a huge slice of homemade apple pie.

This season I received a Scentspiration Home for the Holidays box from Febreze which was a delight! Inside this adorable house was a Febreze NOTICEables warmer and NOTICEables Notables in some of my favorite scents: Frosted Pine, Vanilla Latte and Apple Tart.  The Holiday collection also includes Toasted Almond and Sugared Cranberry.

These warmers do a great job of making each room they are in feel warm and cozy and are very simple to use. The Vanilla Latte reminded me of sugar cookies, the apple tart like a delicious pie cooking in the oven, and the Frosted Pine like a forest in Winter.

My favorite is the Frosted Pine! I love going to pick out just the right Christmas tree each year and how it scents our house. I actually love that smell so much I have to be persuaded each year for it to be dragged out after the holiday. It reminds me of deep rich forests and the beauty of nature.

I like that Febreze doesn’t just cover up but really does eliminate odors. This Home for the Holidays Collection can help get your home fresh and ready for the season as well.

In this kit, Febreze also included a box filled  with activity, recipe and craft ideas to get your creative juices going!

I decided to try the Coffee Scrub inspired by the Vanilla Latte scent.

febrezecoffeecoffeescrub

What you need: 1/2 cup ground coffee, 1/2 cup white sugar,  1/4 cup melted coconut oil, 1/2 tbs nutmeg, 1/2 tbs cinnamon and 3-4 drops of vanilla extract.

1. Combine all of the dry ingredients in a bowl.

2. Use a fork to mix in the oil and vanilla.

3. Spoon into a small mason jar or other airtight container.

I really love this scrub. First of all, it has the deep rich scent of fresh spiced coffee and I loved the way it very gently exfoliated my skin.

What scents remind you of the Holidays?

Giveaway: In the spirit of the season and to get you started with some Febreze scents, you can enter here to win a $15 Walmart gift card.

Best of luck and Happy Holidays!

I use different scents in different rooms. For my kitchen, I typically use something that has apple and cinnamon. When the tree is up, I use a pine scent in the living room. I’m mostly a fan of “blue” scents, so the rest of the house I will typically use scents that include words like “snow”, “winter”, etc. (during the rest of the year it’ll be scents like ocean, breeze, etc.). I do love plum, although it’s hard to find it in air fresheners. I’d love to try their Sugared Cranberry scent, too.
