    Well not so much for August but right afterwards in Sept for our 9 yr wedding anniversary… my soulmate/bff love of my life husband Todd and I want to take a little road trip from where we live in S.E. Michigan to nearby Ohio .. 1 day to visit Ohio Underground Caverns for 1 hr tour to see the crystals, stalagmites & stalagtites and hopefully some cute bats too! Then we are going to spend a night in a nice hotel with hottub and go on nice dinner date and then we are going to spend next day at our first Drive Thru Animal Safari (they let you roll down windows and feed animals too which we are hyper excited about!) Also we are going to a nearby Deer Park where the deer walk up to you (adults and fawns) and let you pet and hand feed them. We are both so very very excited!

    I’m in NW Indiana (near Chicago) and have two long-distance trips planned for August. My daughter and I will be in Baltimore, MD for Otakon (the second largest anime convention in the US) on August 8-10, and the following weekend we’ll be in Dallas, TX for AnimeFest, another convention. We went to Raleigh, NC on Memorial Day weekend for Animazement and a couple of weekends ago to Tulsa, OK for Tokyo in Tulsa. Fawn sells her art and books at these conventions (except for Otakon – her boyfriend is going with and there are too many good guests for her to want to be stuck at a table selling her things). Of course, we would go to these without her selling, but the money she makes helps cover our costs.

    I would like to take a trip with my friend to Seaside, OR. It isn’t far from Portland but it a beautiful drive and nice escape for a weekend.

    I would love to take my daughter to Nashville . I want to see the
    Grand Ole Opry, the Country Music Museum and so much more. I would also like to visit Memphis.

    I would love to take a trip to somewhere where there are a lot of scenic routes during the fall season. The best time of year to me.
