    It says Italian Dukes and Earls used edible pure gold to decorate their risotto in the 16th Century. That’s pretty interesting. I wonder if they ate it too (I still can’t help wondering how it tastes, either).

    I learned “The cocoa beans are ground to no more than 15 microns – this makes the smoother texture in the mouth because it can only detect a granule size of over 18 microns. Industry standards are approximately 30 microns.”

    I found that The Chocolate uses edible pure 24 carat gold is in the form of flakes. Such was our passionate desire to create the most luxurious chocolate experience in the world we didn’t want to use the readily available ‘gold leaf’. So we researched and found that edible pure 24 carat gold flakes could be purchased within Europe. These flakes are added at the ‘enrobing’ stage in order that they sit proudly, glistening for the discerning recipient.

    I find it interesting that they say that gold is Known to Give a Higher IQ. If that is true then I wish my parents would have given me a bit more gold so I could have gotten the 2 more IQ points I need to get into MENSA.
