We all need nurturing and support to pursue our hopes and turn them into reality. Love and encouragement from her family led Dana back to the pool. She was committed to getting back in the game after becoming a mom, so that her new son, Arlen, would grow up realizing the importance of hard work. Seeing his mom achieve her dreams as a competitive swimmer would hopefully ignite his own passions!
Dana’s journey to Rio will be shared with all of us! Her goal of winning gold at this year’s Olympics is not just her dream – it’s the dream of her entire family.
