On Monday, February 29, at 8pm est/7pm central, you can catch the moving documentary “He Named Me Malala” on its TV premiere on the National Geographic Channel.
I remember the first time I saw Malala on TV and heard her story. Her words truly moved me as well as her beauty and grace. Once a target of the Taliban, Malala’s bravery shines through, and, as the youngest-ever Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, she is now a leading advocate for children’s rights and girl’s education.
I’m also pleased to be able to offer a giveaway for my readers.
Enter below to win a copy of the book: I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai
This giveaway is open to those in the US. If you have won the same prize on another blog, you will not be eligible to win it again.
