Did you know that it’s not just about creating a fantastic product or meaningful content? Sure, that’s important; but, it’s not true that if you ‘just build it, they will come’ to your website. It’s about identifying your dream customer at a deep level and then helping them easily find you so that you can help them. I’m learning this and more from Russell Brunson’s new book Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers.  As Russell says: “Waiting for people to come to you is not a strategy.” You could have the best product or website in the world, but, that doesn’t mean people will be able to find you.

Russell Brunson is a Best-Selling Author & CEO of the $100M software company ClickFunnels and has a following of over a million entrepreneurs. He has sold hundreds of thousands of copies of his books and made the concept of sales funnels popular. In 2014, Russell and his partner Todd Dickerson launched ClickFunnels, which has become the fastest-growing non-venture backed software company in the world.

I’m taking the Traffic Secrets’ 30-day challenge. Seriously, this book rocks! It’s been just over a week and I can already see how the insights I’m gaining can allow me to be at the front of new trends and identify incredible opportunities. I’m learning how to master evergreen traffic strategies to fill my website and funnels with my dream customers.

Here’s a short video from Russell as to why his book Traffic Secrets is truly different and how it can help you.

As a holistic health therapist, my goal has always been helping others with overall wellbeing. This means balance in all areas: physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. I seek to bring important content to my followers about overall balance. In this area, I am also working on a product with my closest friend and this is something that we will want to introduce soon as well. I’m excited about it as it can help so many.

I have learned so much from Russell Brunson’s book. It not only provides practical, step-by-step information and exercises for the reader, but also gives me insight into psychology and human nature. It has helped me truly understand my dream customer, find out where they hang out and find ways to get their attention and bring them in so I can help them.

You can follow my progress on Twitter where I’ll be posting daily.

Improving Health and Wellness in the Workplace

A lot of us are concerned with health and wellness at home, but, it is just as important to maintain our wellbeing at work to enjoy a balanced life.

The workplace can be challenging with demanding schedules and often limited options, but, if, we can find ways to implement exercise, healthy eating and decreased stress, we can increase our overall happiness and productivity.

Did you know that studies have shown that good eating habits help increase our attention span, improve memory and boost well-being? Here are some ways that companies can help out.

Stock vending machines with healthy choices like natural snacks including protein bars, trail mix, iced herbal tea and juice drinks. Try to add a bowl of fresh fruit to lunch areas and, if you have a cafeteria, make sure there are healthy meal options. For meetings, order healthy lunches in and serve veggie platters instead of donuts.

Avoiding a sedentary lifestyle and encouraging physical activity can also positively impact our health and productivity.

Companies can offer safe, well-covered bike parking to encourage commuting via bicycle. They can also have a fleet of bikes that employees can use during breaks or for errands. Not only will you help yourself by not driving, but you will also reduce your carbon footprint and help out the environment.

Companies may also offer discounts or subsidize memberships to local gyms. If possible, the company may have their own exercise facilities. Having showers at work is also helpful for those who bike in or work out during lunch.

Sports teams are also a fun option to get employees exercising and involved.

Another great idea is having ergonomic work stations and ones that allow standing as well as sitting.

But what about mental stress? Stress has been linked to heart disease, insomina, migraines and more, and, at work inefficiency, absences and dissatisfaction. A great idea is to have health or life coaching, and assistance or classes for healthy cooking, yoga, smoking cessation and weight loss.

Forward thinking companies can also incorporate stress breaks and meditation coaching.

Ultimately, work and home life do not have to be completely separate entities. We can incorporate good habits into the entirety of our life – creating wholeness, balance, and overall wellbeing.
