It’s hard to believe that the holidays are only months away. I already have lists for family and friends’ holiday gifts, yet the funds aren’t there at the moment. I can remember seeing the joy on my family’s faces when they get that item they’ve dreamed about. I have to say that, for me, it feels better to give than to receive.
Hence, the benefits of Kmart’s free layaway program. It seems doable when I can break the payments into increments.

I find their benefits very impressive including a full range of merchandise, year round laywaway, no minimum item purchase, nationwide availability, the variety of options including online options, and no service fee. You can even shop in one state and pick up in another, or pay online and pick up in the store.
This year I would love to purchase a tv for my family. Our picture tube is failing and it would be wonderful to watch our favorite programs together on a new set. I know I can’t afford it straightaway, but this is why I’d love to use the layaway system.
