Simple Tips to Feeling Sexier – #CarefreeChallenge

Sexiness is not about being able to fit into a tiny bikini or having modelesque features. Sexiness is all about how you feel and how you think. It’s a whole being experience.

Here are some simple tips to help you feel sexier:

Take some completely alone time! Whether it means shutting off the phones, computers, tvs and not answering the door or trading babysitting time with another Mom. Do what makes you feel free and pampered!

restDance naked! My favorite thing is to go out naked in the rain (this requires privacy of course and isn’t easily done!) But, you can still dance inside. Choose your favorite music or enjoy the silence.

Take a hot bubble bath with your favorite bath bombs and scents. Revel in the aromatherapy, the quiet and the peace. It’s a great chance to restore and revive.

Create an environment that stimulates the senses. Use candles, flowers, whatever gives you joy and uplifts your spirit.

Get a massage! Either from your significant other or save up for one at the spa. You deserve it! A foot massage also will help with what ails you and give you an overall sense of well-being.

After a warm shower or bath, get out your favorite moisturizer. Slowly massage your arms, legs, feet, neck, hands. Enjoy the moment.

Try acupuncture or acupressure. Getting the energy flowing again can give you a renewed sense of vitality.

Take a yoga or pilates class. If you can’t find one,  there are lots of websites and dvds that can help. This will help put you in touch with your body and your entire being, which feels incredibly sexy. Exercise can do this as well!

Try out living in the moment! Stress can really take a toll on feeling sexy as we struggle through our daily routine and our mind is not at peace. By eliminating worrying about the past and anticipating problems in the future, we can enjoy the present and simply be. As all the great spiritual teachers have said, “Be here now.” It’s not always easy, but, it truly works! Ask yourself, “Is there anything wrong right in this present moment?”

Do it for yourself! Pamper yourself for you, not for anyone else. Get a manicure, paint your toenails, get a new hairstyle or add highlights. A small change can do wonders!

Wear sexy lingerie under your clothes, whether you’re in jeans and a t-shirt or a business suit!

Emulate your cat! Cats lounge, stretch, purr, do what they want, don’t care what others think, and are just naturally sensual beings!

Chocolate not only tastes amazing and feels silky on the tongue, but it also contains phenylethylamine  and serotonin, two natural feel-good substances which can provide the same reaction in the body as falling in love. Other sexy foods: Chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne, asparagus, and chiles. The capsaicin found in spicy foods can stimulate nerve endings and trigger endorphins.

Slowly peel the leaves off of artichokes and dip in a creamy mixture of dijon and mayo till you get to the delicious heart.

    I learn a lot from my cats about sensuality. And no, I don’t suffer from zoophilia, however they’re always lying around the house on their backs with their legs spread. Thank God they’re spayed, but they’re utterly unselfconscious and living in the moment.

    I love your tips! These are great for reminding ourselves that we can feel sexy by who we are on the inside and not always by how we look on the outside! Getting a manicure/pedicure always makes me feel so relaxed afterwards and that leads to feeling sexy!

    Great ideas. Sexiness definitely comes from within and then is attractive to others. It’s beyond important to see our sex appeal not just try to be sexy for others.
